We had an amazing stay at Derwen. Everything is so calm and quiet, it is so relaxing. We especially enjoyed the visits from Bob the cat and Murphy the dog. Adam was always on hand and made us feel so welcome so thank you!

Adam and Lou have been fantastic hosts and Onnen has been the cosiest place to sepnd our anniversary. The whole site has clearly been a labour of love with brilliant attention to detail. We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the landscape, seeing red kites was a highlight!

We even managed to join the local film pub quiz. If you’re really lucky you might meet Bob & Burt the cats.

What a wonderful few days we’ve had, though all too short. We love coming to the barn to watch wildlife and saw some fantastic finds this time, some expected and hoped for species, plus some totally unexpected, including a Great White Egret near Tregaron. Fieldfares and Redwings and two male Hen Harriers on Tregaron Bog - absolute magic!

So thrilled to come back for our third stay after our second, way back in 2018! The cabin was just as we fondly remembered. The addition of Ty Mawr the new communal space is fab.

We’ve had a wonderful few days in Onnen. Hearing the tawny owls at night, watching the deer prance in the fields and spotting the gorgeous Exmoor ponies - what a delight!

The shepherds hut had everything we needed, plenty of wood for the fire at night, the facilities in Ty Mawr were brill and we were so lucky to explore this beautiful landscape!

Had such a lovely time at Llwynbwch Barn. The barn itself had everything we needed and was very cosy with the log fire burning. Thanks Lou for great communication about our stay and we had lovely chats with Adam about countryside escapes!

Our stay was perfect for our first little vacation with our 4 month old daughter.

We absolutely loved our stay in the barn. It was a perfect get away from our usual busy schedules. The barn has everything you need, with lots of cosy and homely touches. The garden is tranquil too.

Drifting off to sleep with a full moon framed by the leaded window above the bed, waking up to beautiful blue skies and ponies munching in the next field. Nature thriving, hot showers and lovely loos. What a perfect place Onnen is!

Wales is such a breath takingand picturesque country: lavish green sea and hills - simply beautiful. For other future guests of this cosy house, Skomer island, Three Cliffs Bay and Elan Valley (with bikes) are a must.

The view is so beautiful and last night my mum and dad saw a deer!

I stayed in Onnen for an idyllic night time experience and morning waking looking out at the trees. The only bad thing was that I was alone - this little cabin is a perfect place for two to cuddle up!
