Thank you for our stay in your barn. It’s one of the best holiday lets we’ve stayed in. The wood fired sauna was also great. We will be in touch again when visiting Wales.

What a lovely amazing stay in the middle of green scenery. We had a feeling we came back in time and stayed at our grandparents house. That’s a big compliment for you. We had always chased that feeling here in the UK but only you can deliver. The beds are so comfy so we slept like babies. We loved the peace and quiet. Loved the squirrels.

What a magical site. We loved our stay in Onnen and will be coming back, for sure! The site is stunning - very excited for the sauna to be finished!

We had a very eventful walk at Llyn y Fan Fach, where we had to dig 2 cars out of the mud! Enjoyed a swim in the river and a bright, blue-sky day.

Wow!

A lovely end of summer celebration/ reset/ restore.

Onnen has been so cosy and beautifully designed and thought through. We’ve enjoyed the luxury of the log burner, showering and cooking some very indulgent home comfort meals in the communal space.

Highly recommend doing the big walk at Llyn y Fan Fach - we both really loved this on a sunny September day.

Such a relaxing, homely, peaceful space to be present and explore!

We had a wonderful retreat for Nat’s birthday.

Onnen is a real gem , hidden amongst the Welsh countryside. Our first venture into South Wales and our first memory will forever be of the herd of calves blocking the track down here! The bed is extremely comfy and Ty Mawr so well equipped. We had a wonderful adventure into Ammanford and whilst we hadn’t packed any walking boots for mud, we enjoyed the waterfall at the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

We had a peaceful, tranquil and romantic break for our chaotic lives and are truly thankful!

What a lovely spot.

Who knew the best waterfall in the Brecon Beacons would be the waterfall shower at Under Starry Skies! Best shower I’ve ever used, especially after a day’s hiking.

A really well thought out site, by people who know what their guests want. I had a very peaceful and comforting stay. Say hi to Murphy & Bob for me!

A wonderful 4 nights in this very special place. Thank you Adam and Lou for giving us this opportunity to enjoy all you have achieved at Llwynbwch and to exlpore this beautiful unspoilt locality. We loved Derwen - its situtation and the thought that has gone into creating a cosy but practical place to stay. We had a wet day and really appreciated the facilities ‘up the road’ in Ty Mawr.

I have spent 3 glorious nights at Onnen, enjoying the sound of birdsong and keeping cosy whilst it was raining!

It’s been a perfect way to switch off and find some peace in nature. I walked from the hut to Talley one day, then the next went to explore Allt Rhyd y Groes nature reserve - truly stunning.

The communal space has everything I needed for a comfortable stay and what a comfy bed!
A truly magical place - the orchids in the meadows are stunning and the wren at home in Onnen - how special, I could watch that all day!

Thank you for a wonderful time at Onnen. Having some time off grid and in beautiful surroundings was just what I needed.

The attention to detail across the whole site is incredible and I was not left needing anything at all.

Many thanks for this weekend spent in nature, by the fire and sheltered from the rain in the cosiest of huts. It is a beautiful and quiet area, perfect for some well needed rest and reaxation.

We both enjoyed discovering this part of Wales but realize there’s a lot more exploring to be done - we’re hoping to be back!

Thank you for a lovely stay. It was all we hoped it would be. Thank you to Adam for the guided walk, it was nice to see so many insects on the walk and around the cabin, Orange tips, Peacocks, Red admiral, Comma, Speckeledwood, Holly blue and Green veined white butterflies, Large red damselfly by Ty Mawr plus the wren’s nest in the compost loo!

So peaceful and quiet, a complete rest from the ‘noise’ of the world.

I came here to do a little writing retreat and it has been absolutely perfect; so tranquil and beautiful. Everything has been clearly made with so much love and Adam and Lou are the most lovely people you’ll ever meet!

Some of my favourite delightful surprises / additions are the coffee machine in Ty Mawr, the mini herb garden outside Derwen, the picnic blanket which meant that I could sit outside, even after the rain, the log burner - so cosy!
