    Derwen Cabin

    Derwen looks east, over the meadows and woods and across the valley towards the tiny village of Llansadwrn. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and perhaps catch a glimpse of deer. The cabin is light and airy by day and yet still snug and cosy by night.

    Hafan Cabin

    Hafan looks West across its meadow and captures wonderful sunsets over ‘the Fan’, the local hill. Enjoy starry skies from the deck, toast marshmallows around the campfire or cwtch up inside by the woodburner with a good book.

    Llwynbwch Barn

    A former hay barn lovingly converted and finished to a very high standard of design, with a double-height living space, vaulted ceiling and skylights letting the starlight stream in, and a cosy wood burner in a spectacular stone fireplace.

    Onnen Shepherds Hut

    A cosy former Shepherds Hut nestled at the base of a sloping wildflower meadow under mature trees, with everything you need for your off-grid stay including wood burner, sink, cooking facilities and compost loo!

Off-grid comfort

Hafan (Haven) and Derwen (Oak) are off-grid timber cabins, whilst Onnen is a cosy shepherds hut for two, all handcrafted by Adam and Lou, each set in their own secluded wildflower meadow, surrounded by mature native trees.

Under a green living roof they have every comfort including log burner, cooking, seating and sleeping areas for up to 2 adults and 2 children in the cabins.

Outside each is a fire pit and BBQ, with a sheltered deck - perfect for star gazing.

Cosy in the Winter and perfect for lazy Summer days - and with a whole meadow to yourself you can retreat and connect with nature, or enjoy noisy, fun-filled days with the family!

Llwynbwch Barn

With a private garden overlooking the ‘Fan’, and a thoughtfully designed interior with vaulted, sky-lit central space, Llwynbwch Barn is a haven to retreat and re-energise. Sensitively converted using traditional and sustainable materials, the barn accommodates up to four adults or two children and two adults. Guests return year after year, and often extend their stay to several weeks as Carmarthenshire has year-round attractions and cultural events, and there are things to see and do at Llwynbwch in every season.

Onnen

Brand new for 2025!

Onnen is our gorgeous new addition to the flock… a vintage shepherds hut set in its own sloping wildflower meadow and nestling under mature native trees. With a woodburning stove to keep Onnen super-cosy, and hob, sink and handmade table and chairs means you can hide away from the world in style.

Nature Recovery

Llwynbwch farm has been managed for nature for over a quarter of a century and wildlife is thriving here. Conserving the land sustainably means that rare species, like the Marsh Fritillary butterfly, can flourish - and visitors can experience nature returning and balance restored.

    Carbon footprint

    All our accommodation has been designed. constructed and converted sustainably using renewable and reclaimed materials, including naturally fallen timber from the land. The cabins have a carbon footprint of just 1.0kg per cabin, per night.

    Clean Energy

    Our entire site is run on clean, renewable energy with an air source heat pump and solar thermal. We source all firewood for the Barn and the Cabins from the land here.

    Sustainable Management

    Using traditional methods like scything, hedgelaying, and conservation grazing with Exmoor ponies and rare breed Dexter cattle, our land is managed 100% sustainably
