A cosy former Shepherds Hut nestled at the base of a sloping wildflower meadow under mature trees, with everything you need for your off-grid stay including wood burner, sink, cooking facilities and compost loo!

Off-grid comfort
Hafan (Haven) and Derwen (Oak) are off-grid timber cabins, whilst Onnen is a cosy shepherds hut for two, all handcrafted by Adam and Lou, each set in their own secluded wildflower meadow, surrounded by mature native trees.
Under a green living roof they have every comfort including log burner, cooking, seating and sleeping areas for up to 2 adults and 2 children in the cabins.
Outside each is a fire pit and BBQ, with a sheltered deck - perfect for star gazing.

Llwynbwch Barn
With a private garden overlooking the ‘Fan’, and a thoughtfully designed interior with vaulted, sky-lit central space, Llwynbwch Barn is a haven to retreat and re-energise. Sensitively converted using traditional and sustainable materials, the barn accommodates up to four adults or two children and two adults. Guests return year after year, and often extend their stay to several weeks as Carmarthenshire has year-round attractions and cultural events, and there are things to see and do at Llwynbwch in every season.
Onnen

With a woodburning stove to keep Onnen super-cosy, and hob, sink and handmade table and chairs means you can hide away from the world in style.

Nature Recovery
Llwynbwch farm has been managed for nature for over a quarter of a century and wildlife is thriving here. Conserving the land sustainably means that rare species, like the Marsh Fritillary butterfly, can flourish - and visitors can experience nature returning and balance restored.
Our Impact
-
Carbon footprint
All our accommodation has been designed. constructed and converted sustainably using renewable and reclaimed materials, including naturally fallen timber from the land. The cabins have a carbon footprint of just 1.0kg per cabin, per night.
-
Clean Energy
Our entire site is run on clean, renewable energy with an air source heat pump and solar thermal. We source all firewood for the Barn and the Cabins from the land here.
-
Sustainable Management
Using traditional methods like scything, hedgelaying, and conservation grazing with Exmoor ponies and rare breed Dexter cattle, our land is managed 100% sustainably
-
Wildlife Monitoring
Working with Butterfly Conservation, Carmarthenshire Bat project and local ecologists we survey & prioritise habitats so wildlife can thrive here
