FAQs

Do you allow dogs?

No pets allowed sorry. Whilst we love animals and have a dog, cats and chickens, our land is grazed by our Exmoor ponies and we often have other sheep and cattle grazing.

Do you allow parties?

This is a quiet family run site, not suitable for parties or noisy celebrations.

Where’s the nearest beach?

The nearest beach is probably Llansteffan, just beyond our main county town of Carmarthen. Llansteffan is absolutely beautiful, great for rambles, lying and playing in the and - but not so good for swimming as its an estuary with mud flats. For swimming the nearest is Pembrey, equally lovely with miles and miles of sand. Find out more about the local area.

Which is the best beach?

Now that’s a question. In West Wales we have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world…and if your idea of heaven is an empty beach with no loos (like Penbryn), or an all-singing all-dancing beach with a promenade, pubs, showers and loos (Pendine, Tenby, Saundersfoot) - the answer will be different!

We really love Rhossilli Bay for its picture perfect views, wild ponies, and 3 miles of golden sand. But we also adore the seaside haven that is Tenby - a historic walled town, with plenty to see and do in the town - including a fabulous art gallery, shops, cafes and restaurants, fish and chips, lots of parking options and lovely walks around, battlements, lifeboat station and all-round stunning surroundings.
