Delight in the Wild Retreat

We are beyond grateful for all your support over the weekend - both for the use of the utterly glorious land and buildings that we all got to know and love, and also for your support and your willingness to assist when needed. We deeply appreciate your communication leading up to the event - you were always available to help us with any questions, and you were willing to do everything you could to help - including putting out ribbons to help people find their way, clearing fallen trees, and more! During the weekend itself, Lou’s talk at the start and the amazing fire on Saturday night really added to the weekend. You made the experience, from start to finish, warm, personal, easy.

We loved that there are so many different areas, each with their own magic. We felt so supported by the land and its generous beauty.

Thank you also for putting us in touch with Yeshe - her food was wonderful and we loved her company too.

Amongst what our participants valued the most:

‘The beautiful and peaceful location. It was magical. I loved the outdoor nature of the spaces, including the buildings.’

‘The stunning location tucked away. The sessions on the land.’

‘The setting itself. I loved the cabin.’

‘The venue was perfect and lended itself to really seeing nature in different formats - I loved the trekking through mud, through long grass and bracken, the stream and plunge - a really varied environment.’

Thank you!

Council of all Beings Retreat

Llwynbwch is absolutely the most wonderful place for a small retreat, surrounded by nature.

This is the second year we have held our gathering here and are hoping to return to Under Starry Skies, to make the most of the land and the buildings and to enjoy Yeshe’s wonderful food.

One of its less obvious joys is that it's not hyper organised - it's not a collection of samey pods or yurts, it feels organic and homely. There's a good variety of gathering spaces too, with Llwynbwch Barn and Ty Mawr and also the barn garden, the deck, the firepit…

We were a group of 14 over our weekend, staying in the various accommodations and a few in campervans and tents in the top field - we were a snug fit on Ty Mawr’s decking for our morning gathering. We’ll be back!
