We spent the cosiest two nights in Onnen under the stars and would have loved to have stayed for many more.

Falling asleep to the crackling of the fire and waking up to the birds was completely magical.

What an amazing place Lou & Adam have created. We really hope to visit again soon.

After putting this little space together last year we finally made it down to spend a night in Onnen!

Honestly, what a treat!

It was in the very cold spell - we went to sleep with the fire crackling and snow falling, all cosy warm. We woke up to -10 degrees outside, re-lit the fire and enjoyed a magical morning while the snow continued to fall all around us.

To top it off, this was the morning of my 50th birthday!

Thank you Onnen, you’re just what we dreamed of creating!

It has been a very beautiful weekend staying in Onnen and exploring this beautiful area of Wales!

Onnen was cosy and magical. We liked walking down the path after dark to look at the amazing stars and listen to the sounds and creaks of the trees in the wind.

The communal kitchen space is amazing, we had everything we needed and felt fully relaxed here.

We went for a great walk along the Cambrian Way, near to Gwenffrwd-Dinas Nature Reserve. We visited Dinefwr park, Llandeilo and Llandovery - all worth a trip.

We booked to come away for a couple of nights for my 30th birthday and all I can say is ‘Wow’!

We definitely chose the right place when booking Onnen. The bed was so comfortable and the fire made it so cosy and warm. Everything is so well thought through and the place and its surroundings are beautiful.

We took a trip to see some waterfalls where we got engaged which was the icing on the cake!

So overall 10/10 trip and we’ll definitely be returning in the future!

Adam and Lou have been fantastic hosts and Onnen has been the cosiest place to sepnd our anniversary. The whole site has clearly been a labour of love with brilliant attention to detail. We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the landscape, seeing red kites was a highlight!

We even managed to join the local film pub quiz. If you’re really lucky you might meet Bob & Burt the cats.

We have had such a wonderful time staying in Onnen. It is such a cosy and wholesome place.

We enjoyed exploring around the land and Ty Mawr the communal shared space is utterly beautiful.

Such a peaceful place to be - we can’t wait to return in the future.

Onnen is utterly perfect.

My only complaint is that I didn’t book for longer!

We’ve had a wonderful few days in Onnen. Hearing the tawny owls at night, watching the deer prance in the fields and spotting the gorgeous Exmoor ponies - what a delight!

The shepherds hut had everything we needed, plenty of wood for the fire at night, the facilities in Ty Mawr were brill and we were so lucky to explore this beautiful landscape!

Drifting off to sleep with a full moon framed by the leaded window above the bed, waking up to beautiful blue skies and ponies munching in the next field. Nature thriving, hot showers and lovely loos. What a perfect place Onnen is!

Thank you Adam & Lou - so much work has clearly gone into the site and the experience of guests - it’s perfect - I’ll definitely be back!

I stayed in Onnen for an idyllic night time experience and morning waking looking out at the trees. The only bad thing was that I was alone - this little cabin is a perfect place for two to cuddle up!

I think I’ve found my happy place!

Loved the view from Hafan, that big oak tree is stunning…

The cabin is so cosy and warm (I had no idea it was going to be so warm!) We did the white flag walk too, which was quite an adventure, with water water everywhere, but good fun! Like doing a treasure hunt - with Ty Mawr with tea and a raspberry ruffle cake as the treasure at the end!

Really loved it here and hope to be back!

We loved our brief stay in Onnen shepherds hut.

As the evening was damp we lit the log burner and the hut was really toasty in no time.

A family birthday in nature!

Thanks for an excellent stay. The wagon is delightful - cosy and comfortable with everything we needed and beyond lovely to wake up immersed in nature.

We drifted off to sleep with owls hooting in the distance and woke up to a stunning dawn chorus from songbirds.

We would absolutely love to stay again and hope to be back soon with more of the family.

What a privilege to be the first person to sleep in Onnen! It has been a magical experience. Every part of the wagon is beautiful-such artistry and creativity. Very comfortable bed. I love the fairy lights, the dimmable reading lights, the solid wooden pull-out table and the wooden handle on the kettle. All so cosy and welcoming, nourishing. May this be the start of a lovely jouney for Onnen welcoming many visitors. May they find peace and beauty as I have. Thank you
