What a wonderful few days we’ve had, though all too short. We love coming to the barn to watch wildlife and saw some fantastic finds this time, some expected and hoped for species, plus some totally unexpected, including a Great White Egret near Tregaron. Fieldfares and Redwings and two male Hen Harriers on Tregaron Bog - absolute magic!

Wales is such a breath takingand picturesque country: lavish green sea and hills - simply beautiful. For other future guests of this cosy house, Skomer island, Three Cliffs Bay and Elan Valley (with bikes) are a must.

Such a wonderful quiet and relaxing space and so much thought gone into the accommodation, we had a lovely time. Recommend the independent shops in Llandeilo. Visit to Newton House Dinefwr much enjoyed and if the weather is good definitely the walk up to Carreg Cennen castle - what views!

Llandovery also interesting but forget Carmarthen - depressing! Aberglasney Gardens well worth a visit.

We came here to escape the busyness of everyday life and your place was exactly what we needed - peaceful, beautiful and so thoughfully put together. What a great place! It was a wonderful base to explore the area - beautiful drives and views. Thanks Adam for the recommendation of Lolfa cafe in Llandeilo which we loved. An easy drive to the Four waterfalls Trail makes for a wonderful day out.

We hope to be back again as it’s a wonderfully peaceful place.

A wonderful week looking at the wildlife of West Wales. Highlights this year were: lots of Marsh Fritillary butterflies here at Llwynbwch, Painted Lady butterflies Mwnt and Green Hairstreak butterflies at Tregaron Bog. Several beautiful Demoiselle dragonfiles at Cwm Brefi, Tregaron Bog and the Gold mine.

Here in the garden we saw Redstarts, Pied Flycatchers and Wood Warblers.

All in all, a very good week with kind weather all set in the stunning countryside of West Wales. Best wishes Lou & Adam!

We had such a lovely time in this wonderful barn, so spacious yet so cosy. Thank you for being great hosts. Wales is so stunning we shall certainly return!

Thank you for having us at your amazing barn! We loved watching the birds at the birdfeeder and meeting one of the cats. We enjoyed a long walk and spotting red kites. Also found the Sexton Arms pub which was great, especially the walk back in the dark!

We really enjoyed our little weekend stay, the barn is lovely and cosy. Watching all the little birds in the garden was entertaining. The stars in the sky last night were amazing!

A short but very sweet stay in a peaceful setting. The local castles are amazing, but I think my 10 year old son was more impressed with the huge amount of frog spawn in the pond on the track!
